Re: Easter Menu

[ Edited ]

We'll be having ham, potato salad, baked beans and broccoli, but I'm also making a tray of stuffed shells.  In my Italian background, there was ALWAYS some kind of pasta on the holiday table, no matter what.

ETA: replacing the broccoli with Brussel sprouts. I think I'm going to try Molly Yeh's recipe that she had on her show last week.

Trucker daughter will be on the road for Easter, so I will not be cooking a holiday meal.

We're going to my niece's for Easter.  I know ham, cheesy escalloped potatoes and baked beans are on the menu but don't know what else.

I hope everyone has a nice Easter Sunday.

I have not decided yet what to do.  Maybe quiche, maybe just fried ham and eggs, sunny side up, with English muffins and a side of broccoli.

The more I think about it, I'll make potato salad and deviled eggs.  DH loves both of those.   He doesn't like ham (or so he says) but I may still fry up some steaks.  They make such a nice compliment to the salad and eggs.

A nice green salad with Penzeys buttermilk ranch maybe too.

Y'all are making me hungry!

Mine will be a simple meat loaf. All my family is scattered visiting other states for one reason or another, including DH, so I am very easy to please!
