That is one beautiful tablescape!  I'm really loving a pink/green combo these days.

So pretty!  Everyone can get their food in the kitchen and seat yourself!

It certainly is a beautiful table.  I like a pretty table, but I didn't like all of the dishes that needed to be washed and put away.  I still use woven tablecloths, nice serving pieces, and real flatware, but have given myself permission to use decorative paper plates and paper napkins.  The table still looks pretty and cleanup isn't so bad.

My Easter table with be set with a lavender tablecloth, a pale pink table square placed diagonally and a centerpiece on top.  These are our plates and napkins, from Hobby Lobby.

Re: Easter Dinner Table

@JeanLouiseFinch   Very pretty!   You make wonderful family dinners, so a shortcut with your beautiful plates and napkins are perfect.  I'm always buying napkins and plates.

So the jellybeans the kids planted are going to be replaced with lollipops?

I have great memories of my childhood Easter's.  We went to our cousins for Thanksgiving, and they came for Easter.  Yes, 12 people in our small house.  Those were the days.  Easter baskets for 8 kids.  Dinner for 12.  It was always fun!

Thanks so much!  Yes, @lynnie61 - we planted jellybeans yesterday and magically they will "grow" to become lollipops on Sunday when the kids arrive.  😊

What's with the glasses?  They seem randomly placed. . . Candle holders?

What a Beautiful table I love the colors I used to try to set a lovely table like that but like JeanLouiseFinch I didn’t like washing the dishes before setting the table and afterwards as our family expanded
I still use pretty tablecloths and a small centerpiece ( that someone usually ends up moving off the table usually to the side on the floor ) with paper plates and napkins

@Puzzle Piece   Whether the TV show was the older Upstairs Downstairs or the more recent Downton Abbey, many aspects of the life of the ultra wealthy then for both the men and women would not please the majority of us today.

I might manage to get used to being served by the staff, but even if I had a ladies maid to help, I want nothing to do with having to change clothes 5 or more  times a day to meet live up to the etiquette of centuries past.
