Our neighbor down the road has ducks and has brought eggs to us. I've eaten them but prefer baking with them.

I'm the same way, Citrine1, I love trying new foods. It's the way I've found some of my now favorite foods.

I don't recall if I have ever eaten duck eggs, but watching these 'Food' channels I noticed that they often use and/or serve fried duck eggs with certain dishes and the overall responses from patrons at restaurants is that they are so delicious, the egg is just larger in size than a chicken egg.

I've had duck eggs and they do have a much larger yolk. I prefer chicken eggs though.
