Does anyone else feel this way about Floral Lace?

I love Temp-tations Floral Lace, all colors are just beautiful. Unlike many, I like the brown trim on most pieces (there was a muffin pan that it was a little to much, or too wide on, but the rest I like), and I love the beading.

On most pieces, I like the "reversal" of the color on white on the inside. The only problem I have is that there are a few pieces that just don't lend themselves well to that mix. The canisters on TT.com right now that have colored bottoms with the white tops just don't cut it for me. I also have avoided the dinnerware because the plates are just white with light floral design, and you can't see the darker colors because they are flat, and color is hidden on the bottom. I guess I like FL best when there is lots of the deep color outside showing, and less of the white, or at least balanced well. I also never liked the chicken measuring spoons in the Floral Lace, as there is just too much white.

Anybody else notice this or feel this way?

I'm with you ... I don't mind the brown trim on the floral lace. I have several sets in the cranberry and just love the mix. In my opinion, the brown makes the pieces look elegant. I have not sprung for a dinnerware set yet ....just like you, I am not sure if I like the lack of the bold color along with the white side.

I don't care for any of their patterns. They are way too busy for me. I prefer something a little more sleek and modern looking.

I have never purchased the FL since I dislike the brown trim plus they aren't offered in my favorite color. I do like the idea of the ""reverse"" painting and the embossed or engraved patterns.

The deep blue floral lace is the only ones I like but the brown trim ruins it for me.

I don't mind the brown trim on the blue- in fact I just got my son and DIL a set in the dark blue and wished I had gotten it for myself...

I guess I forgot to mention, I did buy the blue FL square dishes for my mom, and she keeps her table set up with them. When you layer them, and put the beautiful square bowl on the two plates, it is pretty, but remove the bowl, and you are looking at two mostly white(ish) plates with a little bit of blue. Kind of plain, without being a nice solid.

I have Vintage Grace dinnerware, and I love the solid color with the great raised design. Best of both worlds, solid color, but the embossed pattern gives texture.

I have the Floral Lace dinnerware in Red and I just love it. The plates are red with the white floral design. The bowls have the reverse (outside is red with white, inside is white with red) and I love them both. You can see the red design quite easily in the bowls...not sure if that is true of any of the lighter colors, but I'm very happy with the look!

I love the floral lace pattern! It is my favorite in the blue. The brown edging adds something to the dishes for my preference. I could kick myself that I did not order two sets of the dishes a few years ago. I keep looking at the square set but trying to get all of those round and square plates in my one cabinet is quite the task. Not sure if I'm up for a puzzle every time I unload the dishwasher.

I must have missed out on the Vintage Grace dinnerware. I saw a Classico set of casserole dishes on the Temp-tations site that looked nice. I loved the shape of them but they did not include storage lids. That's a deal breaker for me.

I'm trying to be so careful about what I order with Temp-tations because it all has to fit in one cabinet. You don't see the Floral Lace often so it always gets my attention.

I am a black FL girl. I like the brown trim.
