Mini Rice Cooker?
I have not been able to cook rice because all the lids to my pots and pans have a hole in them. So too much moisture escapes and the rice does not come out the way it should. I needed all new cook ware because I am now induction cooking.
So after two years I have finally decided to order this little cute rice cooker from Amazon.
If you have it, what do you think of it?

I don’t have that but do have the Perfect Cooker from CE. It seems they work the same.
My Perfect Cooker makes great rice. One touch and walk away.

@BirdieGal I need to cook rice for myself only. That's why I chose this mini.
Thanks for the suggestion; I had looked at that also.

I have one that looks just like it in black from HSN. I like it very much. Do not use metal utensils. I found the coating is thin. Try some of the other recipes. I cook macaroni, plain, for Mac & Cheese, worked great. Made a cheese sauce to put on it. I use mine to cook grits!

@CLEM Hello my friend.
I also have the Cook's Essentials 5-Cup Digital Perfect Cooker w/ Recipes. It can cook 1 cup of rice up to 6 cups of rice and I love it. It has a rice setting. Put in 1/2 cup of uncooked rice with about 3/4 water and set it to rice. It just shows two lines going up and down and shuts off when it is done. Perfect rice.
i check mine after 15 minutes and stir once. If I want more water in it then I add it to it. I always rinse my rinse now that I read it is best to do so and it does taste better.
I have bought several for gifts and everyone loves them. I have the blue one. It also cleans easily. It is a keeper. I paid much more on QVC then the sale price now. Hope things helps.
I am doing well right now and hope you are too. ![]()

I have the CE Perfect Cooker and also Wolfgang's rice cooker. Both work great. (Hasn't the Perfect Cooker been on clearance?)

I bought the dash bayside and it works fine. makes enough for two servings. small, compact and comes with recipes to make things other than rice. also have the one from the southern channel which I also like. agree the non-stick fails after my daily use (I make steel cut oats in mine everyday....easy peasy) so I now add non stick spray for easy cleanng.

I don't but I keep seeing them at my favorite retailer, they look so cute, tiny little waffle makers/burger cookers

It never dawned on me that's the reason why my rice doesn't turn out as good as I think it should!

Please read the reviews first if you possibly plan on purchasing the Cook's Essentials 5-Cup Digital Perfect Cooker. There are 97 pages of reviews-- 24 pages are only one-star ratings-- almost 25% of the ratings indicated this product was inferior!!! A two-star rating isn't much better (reminds me of the time when my son was in grade school and attempted to justify a D- grade as having submitted a passing assignment and I told him a D- grade just meant a teacher was being kind-hearted to him and didn't want to give him the F grade he deserved; IMHO, the D and the F grades are comparable to 2star and 1star ratings).
Whenever I read them, I always change the review option from high-low to low-high ratings.
