Do you know what Braai is ??

It is another term for barbecue. I learned about it from a show from The Cooking Channel, Siba's Table.

Braai pronounced (br-eye) is the word for barbecue.

Siba went to a restaurant where you pick out the meat, they season it up and grill it out back for you. She got enough food for 5 people, that was a lot of food.

The place where Siba went was Mzoli's in South Africa. They wouldn't give her the recipe for the dry rub. (of course) It was yellow looking and they rubbed it all over all the meats before grilling them.

So I did a search for a seasoning used when barbecueing and came up with Braai Salt.

Online there is different versions of the salt to season meats. One I saw had pepper, cumin, garlic and coriander and salt.

The only place I found so far in the US that sells this kind of salt is Mario's Finest, located in WA.

On the show they put this on sausage, pork chops, lamb chops and chicken. It was used as a dry rub before grilling the meats.

That would be nice to be able to pick out the meats you want, and let them cook them for you.

The cooked meats looked so good!!! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}
