Do You Use Matching Glassware On Your Table?

At dinner I have a glass of wine, DH has tea or a beer.

When I set the table, I use clear matching glasses that are big enough for ice cubes for tea.

No matching unless it's a holiday or special occasion. Everybody has a "favorite glass" that they always want to use. Some are larger, some are juice glasses.

I always use matching glasses for meals. We drink Iced tea at dinner and these are plenty big. I need to use this type of glass because my right hand is deformed from lupus and I can't grasp a glass. I can slip my fingers around the stem. I also have smaller ones for juice.

No, I have various pattterns of depression glass and mid century modern (the 50's and 60's) that I pull out of the cupboard at random. I pick up odd pieces at thrift stores, auctions, etc. This old glass doesn't do well in the dishwasher so it gets tossed eventually. Any expensive stuff that still has value gets washed by hand. I use Fiesta for my dishes. The dishwasher doesn't harm old or new Fiesta at all.

I rarely have matching plates or silverware, let alone glasses! LOL! Only holidays do we pull it together (sometimes).

When we eat at the table, it is with matching things, and a thought toward what we want the table to look like. Whether I do it or hubby.

When we are sort of snacking in front of the tv, we don't use matching glasses sometimes, and sometimes a Corkcicle or Rifle or Yeti tumbler to keep our tea fresh for a while! Sometimes it's a can of Waterloo, Perrier or Topo Chico!
