I got rid of some of mine but still have 2 shelves on the bookcase. Still use the Betty Crocker cookbook we received almost 48 yrs ago when we got married Feb 28th.

Yes I hav several tucked up in a hard to reach cabinet. I also never look at them since it's just too easy to look up something new online but for some reason I am hesitant to get rid of them right now.

@Biftu I kept my favorites and donated ones I seldom used.

I have a large collection and unfortunately do not refer to them very often. Many are the cookbooks that my mom gave to me so I cannot part with them. I also purchases Taste of Home cookbooks and probably have about 25 of those. Anytime I get tempted to part with some I start going through the pages and see so many yummy recipes I would love to try so I end up keeping them.
I did move my collection from a large cabinet in the kitchen to a bookcase I have in my office. I really needed the space in the kitchen so it helps now that I moved them to the office as they're not taking up valuable kitchen space.

No. I was only saving them for the photos. I got rid of them and just print out baking recipes now.

@Biftu I had over 300 cookbooks and read them like novels. I downsized and now have about 180. I love them.
The person I gave most of them to was THRILLED. She is in her early 40s and is cooking from them with her daughter.

We have a LOT of cookbooks and baking books. We rarely look at them. I don't cook much at all, but there is always hope!

I still have mine and use a few recipes. I also have my grandmother's Betty Crocker.
No one wants to tackle that storage!

I'm not a cook by a recipe person; mainly because food allergies limit what I consume, so I stick to cooking the same things. Most of the cookbooks I have were inherited from my grandmother and aunt and were published by local churches before 1950.
