Good grief(!)    I can't remember anything.    Yesterday, I was frantic because I thought I lost my wedding ring..   (It was on my right hand.)  di

@elaine nj I wish I could find some of that "good" stuff!  The later years were nothing like those were crafted!!!!  Hang on to them and enjoy!

Re: Do You Remember Your First Flatware Pattern?

Oneida service for 12 and serving pieces in a storage chest that looked like a mini dresser..for the life of me I can't remember the patterrn name...Started with a "V".

Never used them much..I preferred my Washington Forge set with wood handles..still used today 54 yrs. later..and looks great.Along with my Blue Currier and Ives 39 cents a piece dinnerware..from the supermarket.

DIL said yes to the Oneida set...her next trip up she gets to take all of it..Her and my son took the  good china last year..

Mine was Oneida and I think the pattern was called Needlepoint.  Remembering back, it was actually pretty boring.  I would never choose it now.

I was able to google a pic!
