I am having a cookout some time this summer and was wondering what the majority of people like. I like both but don't feel like making both (lazy)anyone have preferences?

Macaroni.  But really SLAW!  The kind with the oil and vinegar dressing!  LOL!!!

My preference is macaroni salad.  Though I mostly have seen potato salad when I've gone to outings....rarely macaroni salad.  Bummer!

I prefer macaroni salad because there is so much more you can do with it by adding in things.  

I actually have never had any potato salad that I loved but I have had macaroni/pasta salads that I do.

I prefer potato salad, but I won't eat either if it's been out for more than an hour this time of year, so that's something else to consider if it's being served outside.

I live in central Texas, so it's pretty much always over 90 this time of year. It's expected to be 97 degrees at 7:30pm tonight.

I love potato salad, especially if it is homemade.  I've never cared for macaroni salad.

I don't like macaroni salad. I like slaw and some potato salads.

I like both, but rarely eat them at functions, due to my food allergies.   I like very basic salads, while others like to add many different ingredients.
