Do I need a pressure cooker?

I now have a kitchen with enough room for some appliances and crock pot/pressure cooker have always seemed a bit vintage and very intriguing to me.

Would some of you experts give me some advice - pros and cons? I love to cook and I love to cook ahead. It's just me and DH.

What kind of things do you LOVE to make in your pressure cooker?
