Dishwasher Question!!!

Does anyone know how to really clean the inside of a dishwasher. Mine is SS and is not as clean as I thought. Especially the parts around the edges of the door and where the hinges are at the bottom. I'm wondering if my dishes are really clean. Any help someone may offer would be appreciated.
