I think even if they weren't "as is" they may have chipped and/or cracked. A few years ago I ordered TT mugs and they looked like they would easily chip. I ordered lilac color and it was so pale they looked pink instead so I returned them. Didn't match my original lilac baking pieces at all. They also looked like they would easily chip. Sorry for your problems. Your set sure didn't last long and if there was nothing wrong when you received them, so many of the pieces should not have chipped. Even if they weren't "as is", I doubt QVC or TT would make good on them.
