Leftover curry spareribs and potato salad.

I have never heard of curry spareribs before and I am all for curry. So do you use the curry instead of BBQ sauce? I´m not a BBQ sauce person so I would try the curry.

@tarsmom

Are you finding it impossible to get olives stuffed with almonds?  Those are my favorite and I can no longer find them in the grocery stores in Santa Fe.   I had to order a pack of 6 jars from Walmart online.

Peach cobbler--another favorite!

Late to the party. For last night's dinner, which was the subject of this thread, I made a delicious meal that took 20 minutes to prepare: linguini with bay scallops in a white wine dijon pan sauce.

Tonight: going out to a restaurant with friends for the first time in 6 months.

Re: Dinner tonight

 Tonight's dinner....Chicken Alfredo with Vegetables

With a container of refrigerated RANA Alfredo Sauce and some penne rigate pasta, I'm going to add  a different meat from my usual alfredo dish.........about one-third of a package of cooked rotisserie chicken bought at Costco.  (Will freeze the rest of the  2.5 pound package.)

To the chicken, I'll add  frozen broccoli, three colors of chopped peppers, chopped onion and heat it all until it seems hot  enough  to have the sauce stirred in, along with a generous amount of Cajun seasoning.  (I use McCormick Cajun Seasoning).

Then will heat it all  some more.

When everything is hot enough, I'll stir in the  warm cooked pasta.  (Already threw in some frozen peas to the hot pasta right after was cooked and drained, because peas would overcook if mixed with the other frozen veggies.)

 With this pandemic keeping us home much more for many months, I'm trying harder lately to get out of a food and cooking rut.

Not all of my creative experiments work equally well. .. (ahem).

2nd night now... tuna noodle on the stove top tonight.  Have some Amish noodles for this one.  Man, read about hot rolls and to me, that's a winner food, no matter what I have with it. LOL

2nd night, what's on the menu?

Well, was gonna make @IamMrsG 's White Bean Skillet recipe tonite, but forgot the mushrooms - so will do it tomorrow.

Picked up three kinds of turkey breast sandwich meat at the store today to see what we liked best.  Eddy loved all three, applewood was my fave.  Also got two artisan breads:  sour dough which went well with the turkey.  Cranberry pecan was the other bread which I think I'll have with the black forest turkey half sandwich tonite,.with a p.b. cookie for dessertWoman LOL.

I'm embarrassed to say that I had a frozen mini cheese pizza that I microwaved.  : {
