Dinner Plates - Square or Traditional Round?

So I'm going to purchase new dishware in a couple of weeks and decided on Fiestaware because of all the great pieces and colors. I love their 11" square luncheon plate and intend to buy that size but am undecided on whether to go square or round for the dinner. Have always had the traditional round and just didn't want to buy something that would end up being a fad i.e. the square.

Anyone have square dinner plates and do you like them over the round?
