demonstrated last night with Jill and Meredith? If so, what do you think?
I wanted to watch it, but fell asleep.

If we had smell-a-vision the odor of that fresh bread would have kept you awake! Re: their machine - too small. I had one but gave it to a relative cuz I didn't really like the density of the bread. Don't remember the brand - but it was bigger than the Q - worked great and was fun to watch. I like a loaf to be more fluffy. I think Q's is way too small and limited in choices. To me - spend a little more and get a great machine.

I personally like my bread more dense and was especially interested because it seemed small - it's just for me and I live in an apartment. I hope they will show it again on Sunday during the day.
Thanks for the review @fthunt
@eddyandmeit must have been that oncoming snowstorm that put us to sleep.

I had an old version of the CE bread maker. I LOVED it! Simple to use and made delicious bread. I used it very infrequently -- only because of calories. If not for that -- there would have been fresh bread here on a daily basis! Unfortuantely it died a few days before I had it for one year. The timing was actually good because it was still under warranty. QVC no longer had the same model so they credited my account. That would be my only hesitation about purchasing the one they are offering now. I replaced mine with a more expensive Panasonic I bought on Amazona -- and liked the CE much better. Mostly because of ease of use.

I had one a long time ago. I wish I had thought to let the machine do the mixing, kneading and rising - and then transfer to a loaf pan. Just didn't think of it. This one had the dreaded hole in the center of the upright loaf too. Used to love the smell of the bread!

@aggravated That's what we always do. We use it to make the dough. We bought a 12 x 4 x 3 loaf pan that we use most of the time. We also have a 9 x 4 x 4 pullman pan with cover we use.
The french bread is really yummy. We use it for toast, french toast, garlic bread, grilled cheese etc.
DH hates the shape of bread machine bread.

Every garage sale I went to last year seemed to have a bread machine for sale. They used to be so popular. I have an old one in my basement. I am low-carb, so I seldom eat bread, but back-in-the-day, I really liked being able to make homemade bread so easily.

I watched a few minutes of it. It looked interesting especially when they said not only does it make bread but also cake, pasta dough, dough, jam, toast, and yogurt. Surprisingly, those facts are not listed in the online description, but you can see those functions listed on the bread maker itself in the picture of it. Of course, as I am sure that you know, you can watch the video.
