Also, the poor firemen in Arizona who were killed. 19 Lives was just too much to take. I do hope all of you get some relief soon. Back to Eating During Hot Summers: Our old tradition in Ohio was the good old "fresh" tomatoe sandwich with "fresh" corn on the cob. The whole neighborhood ate this meal for dinner when I was a kid. Going back to the late fifties, sixties, seventies. I am now 61 and still miss those cool, good, fresh Ohio dinners!!! But not the terrible heat waves! Nothing like you are experiencing of course!
