So yesterday I left my coffee pot on and the remaining contents burned the pot.  I put Dawn Powerwash on it, left it overnight, and this morning it rinsed clean without one bit of scrubbing.  I knew I liked the product, but this was great.

Anyone else love this product?

@lynnie61  It is one of my favorite cleaning things but, after reading this thread, I realize that I need to try it for many more things!

@willdob3   Me too!  Many more uses shared here.   I may also try the recipe posted here to make a refill.  Although with all the great things people are posting, I still don't mind the cost of this.

I bought some yesterday and tried it on my air fryer basket and was, "Meh." Mind you, I keep the air fryer basket pretty clean anyway. This morning, I wanted to prep some panko bread crumbs for my fried flounder, so I broke out my old Ninja chopper. It's their now ancient first-gen unit that I only use a few times a year. It's mostly used for chopping nuts for Christmas cookies or grinding coarse panko into a finer panko for fish breading. The finer ground panko keeps the panko quality (crisp) but just makes a better coating in my mind. (I'm having fried flounder for my main meal today and for those keeping track, raw flounder is another food that my cat Holly doesn't like, which is probably better for me. I've had to fight off flounder-loving cats in the past, so her indifference makes food prep a bit easier.)

The Ninja has spent most of its life sitting on an open shelf in the kitchens and neither kitchen has or had a vent fan so any grease in the air settles on whatever's around. That head unit of the Ninja had twenty to thirty years of accumulated grease on it as it's not an easy thing to clean and I almost never use it. You can't get too crazy with anything electrical for fear of a cleaner getting where you don't want it.

So, feeling the stickiness of the head unit (the bowl and cutters are kept very clean since they contact the food) I decided to test the Dawn Powerwash on it. I sprayed some on the green scrubby side of one of my kitchen sponges and gave it a go. It worked very well on that. The head unit is now clean, smooth and relatively new looking. By spraying directly on a sponge and being very careful, I was able to keep the Powerwash where I needed it and not on the more exciting parts.

So, overall, a mixed reaction so far. It was "meh" on the air fryer basket, but excelled on the Ninja powerhead. It's much easier on the skin than Greased Lightning, so that's an edge. It's interesting in how it foams up when sprayed. You don't use a lot at a time either. One bottle should last a while. I'll keep using it on various things and see how it goes. I've got an old (God only knows how old) cookie sheet with a coating of it soaking on it now. We'll see how that comes out. The cookie sheet isn't greasy as much as it's stained, but it's worth a shot.

Absolutely. I love Dawn Powerwash. Isn't it nice when products live up to their hype? With respect to using Dawn Powerwash, it's nice that you can spray it on pots or pans or other kitchen utensils, leave it for a time and clean the utensil wihout lots of scrubbing.

OK - I am so glad that Dawn Powerwash worked out so well for everyone. I am jealous.

I bought an Eddie Bauer Tshirt, extra large. It was a good sale and I wanted a shirt to wear when I worked in the garden in hot weather. And buying extra large works well for me, if I am sweating. The tshirt allows a bit of air between the shirt and me.

I spilled salad dressing on the shirt. There were a number of spots. I immediately sprayed Dawn Powerwash on all the spots. And washed the shirt.

I must admit I did not pay attention to the shirt and put it on several days later, to work in the yard. My husband saw me and gave his honest opinion about the spots on the shirt. I took the shirt off and sprayed it again with Dawn Powerwash.

Just took the shirt out of the washer. It still looks the same - lots of spots. And I have used about 1/2 of the bottle. I thought that I needed to use alot for the best results.

This was the first and only item that I used the Dawn Powerwash on. Am disappointed. I just soaked the shirt again with Dawn Powerwash and will wash it again tomorrow.

But suspect the shirt will end up in the rag pile.

I use it BUT while using it I think it unscrwed itself, as I did not take the lid off.  It spilled on my floor.  What a HUGE mess and it slightly bleached out my floor.

Honestly I don't find it all that much better than the things I've used for years.
