He has mentioned on several shows that I have watched the he didn't have lunch or dinner because he knew he would be sampling food during the show. I have also heard him say that he won't have dinner or lunch because he has had food during the presentations

I like David but can only watch for a small amount of time. Just too much eating for me.

What is so entertaining about watching someone chewing or eating or making cute little faces and noises? I just don't get it. And you know darn well he is going to rhapsodize and sing the praises of everything that goes into his mouth whether he likes it or not. No objectivity here at all.

In the past I hated to miss one of his shows but now it's the same stuff all the time and I find them dull and noncreative. Time to move on.

@Annabellethecat66 he certainly looks like he enjoys every bite. He is one happy fellow and always makes me smile. I enjoy his banter and the fun he brings to the show.

I would love to live with someone that cooks like he does. No more wondering what is for dinner tonight. LOL

David has always eaten well, he is a big man was big muscled and as we all have aged we see that our body does not metabolize calories no matter how much we are on our feet or have a physically long day.

Watching and judging what people eat seems wrong.

This man has to eat and sell food for a living and he does a wonderful job at it.

Love David, his kindness and consideration are a joy to watch.

I used to think maybe he starved himself all week and then over indulged for his shows. However, he used to look pretty fit. Now, big! I guess he doesnt have IBS like I do. LOL! I would just take a small bite of each.
