Just assembled it and started using really like it a lot !

just snap  out the legs put the tray that catches the food between the legs

adjust the thickness (no changing of blades like with  my electric mandoline) from 0 for potato chips, 1 for fried potatoes, higher the # the thicker the cut.

Fast , easy and safe.

glad I bought it !

@SharkE  thanks for posting!  I think I'm going to get one since I've sliced my fingers too many times on the one I have so I no longer use it (old style).

I think purchasing at my local store will be great, since I won't have to wait, can use a coupon, and want to support my store (so it doesn't close down).   After you throw in shipping of $5.50 from QVC, even the discounted price on QVC is the same price as the one in my store.

Thanks again!

Re: Dash brand mandoline

[ Edited ]

I had extra potatoes, so, I sit and peeled to make thin cuts for rare times I make real potato chips, then, turned the knob to 1 for fried potatoes.

(My own preference for thickness) you can go thicker if that's your preference.

Bed & Bath in Amarillo has theirs for 49.99 I had 10 off coupon for anything over 39.00 so cost me 43 with Tx tax.

Walk in, buy, walk out.  I'm going back to old days as much as I can !

Hi @SharkE

I have many DASH kitchen products and I'm very happy with all of them.

My DASH blender rivaled my Vitamix blender, so much so, that I gave that one to my neighbor.
