I've taken several dare challenges in my younger years, so just dare me!

YUM!!!! (IF it's butter cream!)  Fondant, no thanks.

Beautiful!

I'm with you! Yum if they butter cream. Fondant noooooo!

Those flowers are made with fondant which doesn't taste so good, IMO.

They are beautiful though.  My oldest granddaughter is an artist.  She can and has molded fondant into the most amazing things.  She made a cake for a friend and molded the Disney princesses for the top.  I was in awe. She is very, very gifted.

She did not get her talents from me.  I can't wait to show her the cupcakes.  Maybe she will make some flowers for me.

@Kachina624   Thanks for posting.

@Kachina624   . Ok, my granddaughter was here today.  I showed her the picture of the cupcakes you posted.

She said they're easy to make and could be made with a stiff buttercream frosting.  In order to make them you just need Russian tips.  She showed me what Russian tips look like.  Who knew they're not complicated to make with the right tools.

@Carmie    Interesting.  I appreciate beautiful decorating but know nothing about it.  You should've whipped up a batch of cupcakes and said, "show me".  8 bet she has a lot of fun with it.

@Kachina624   She bakes and decorates cakes and especially cupcakes for people who ask her to.....mostly friends and family.

I have seen some of her work and she is really good.  She is in college studying graphic art and has always had a gift drawing, painting and molding clay. Her parents lived with me when she was born just having coming out of the military.

I used to sit her in a high chair as soon as she could sit by herself and give her kid's markers and paper.  She showed promise when she was just a toddler.

Both she and I cried when her parents bought a house.  She is a beautiful young lady and I miss her so much when she is away.

@Carmie   She sounds like a lovely young lady.  I'd miss her too if I was lucky enough to have a granddaughter like her.

After I scraped all that too sweet icing off then I'd eat the cupcake!

@Pook

If it's fondant, I doubt you would want it.

@ECBG :  All fondant is not created equal........truth to that statement.
