Re: Dannon light & fit protein shakes

I tried the vanilla & found it very sweet & yucky. It's a lot of sugar for something that doesn't even taste good.

I dont care for vanilla yogurt so we got the strawberry. They have bannana and berry also. There is good protein and fiber so that amount of sugsr wont spike blood sugar like other things. I have tried the special k ones and they are gross and have even more sugar then these.

There are much better choices that will give you high protein without all the sugar/carbs.

For example, Premier Protein has one shake with 30g of protein, 160 calories, and only 5g of carbs. EAS AdvantEdge has 17 gr of protein, 2g of carbs and is only 100 calories.

We love the Premier Protein shakes.....DH's cardiologist recommended them as a meal replacement. I know they are very filling and you can't beat 30 g of protein.....no weird aftertaste either.Prefer the vanilla.

I also like Premiere Protein. I like the chocolate poured over ice. It tastes very good.

That sounds like an excessive amount of sugar, doesn't it? You'd do better making your own

I put the vanilla in the Magic Bullet with a little frozen fruit and it is delicious.

Re: Dannon light & fit protein shakes

I'm going to try it (Premier) tomorrow. Not as a meal replacement, but as an extra snack/dessert, etc. Our local pharmacy carries it. Great reviews, too. Thanks!!

How much fiber does Premier have?
