Re: DO YOU EAT COTTAGE CHEESE?

We had cottage cheese by itself or with fruit growing up.
I could eat
it, but I never liked it. Don't eat it as an adult. My sister still eats it and loves it.

Re: DO YOU EAT COTTAGE CHEESE?

Living a keto lifestyle, we don't use breadcrumbs.  I saw a recipe the other day that mixed cottage cheese with an egg and a little seasoning, drop it in plops on a lined baking sheet, add a thin slice of onion on top and bake.  They're a replacement for onion rings.  I have burgers planned for next week and think I might try the recipe to go with them.

Those onion ring replacements sound so good!

If you have the time, please share the recipe as I would really like to try these!

I have never even thought about baking cottage cheese.

Unfortunately, I saw them on a reel, @4kitties.  I'll see what I can come up with when I make them.

Thank you!

I have used cottage cheese in a pasta/skillet dish and was surprised how much I liked it when heated!  Baking it sounds very interesting.
