KBEANS:  yes, it is the kinetic thermometer from Curtis Stone.  I love all his cookware, etc., but these 2 will be a return.

I got this one earlier this year and it didn't work right and forgot to send it back. Got it out again last week and it matched the temp of my other thermometer. Not sure what I did different but happy it is working now.

We have a thermometer that has a dial.  Works great.

Mine worked once. Too late to send back. Keep hoping there's magic ahead and it's like he demos because it sure isn't now.

i Watched exactly how he did it and tried over and over. Too late to return so I threw it in garbage. Disgusted !

I once had a flashlight that worked with this system  It gave about six seconds of light after much shaking.  Threw it out and I will never order anything like this.
