Docs girl, did you live down the street from me.... Yep, we had a milkman, eggman, orange juice, Cushman bakery delivery, oh and on Friday my grandmother had a fishman!  Those were the days.  Also, in the block I lived there were small grocery stores on the corner and they had everything you could want (or so it seemed.) They would actually cut the meat you wanted, no prepackaged stuff there.  But then again, refrigerators were much smaller and we would often pick up (or have them deliver) what we wanted.  Oh, and in the cold winter we would have our laundry picked up because it would freeze on the line (never mind poor mom.!)  It is easy to miss the memories of those days.  Kids miss the interaction we had with each other on a daily basis for the simplest things..
