Made my semiannual trip of the year to Costco yesterday to stock up for the winter and was disappointed to find they no longer have the Kirkland Signature Stretch Tite plastic food wrap.
Anyone know why?
Have you tried their new KS plastic wrap in a blue box? I chose not to buy because I didn't know the product, but that means I will have to find a new plastic wrap. I thought the Stretch Tite was the best plastic wrap ever.

have seen it at Christmas Tree Shops

What's Christmas Tree Shops?
I hope it's not gone - definitely has a cult following. But so did their vanilla ice cream and that's gone.
Next time I'm there I'll ask at the service desk if it's discontinued

@JGalt I have the Stretch Tite from Costco and probably won't need any for a year. I sure hope they get it back, because I love it. I have not been able to get All Free and Clear or Dixie Ultra 8 1/2 inch plates for about 2 months.

I assume the StretchTite is permanently gone because the two-pack of Kirkland Signature plastic food wrap they now sell (in Texas) is blue boxes and they do not say StretchTite on them.
@PA Mom-mom , those plates are available on Costco website. Since going to the physical store is a major production for me, I order online for those products sold there.

I got four rolls of Freeze-Tite on A. for about $25 months ago, and have just started using it. It's great. Sadly, it's over $53 now for the same amount.
I've never used the Costco wrap, but there's a wrap called Stretch-Tite on A. It's from the same firm, Polyvinyl Films in MA, and is also made in the USA. Four rolls of about 516' by 11.5" are around $44 right now.

P.S. Kirkland-branded Stretch-Tite is also on A. Two 750-sq-ft boxes for about $25 right now. That's a better deal than the one I just posted about, with 4 rolls, based on square footage.

I have use the Kirkland brand in the blue & yellow box for years. It lasts forever. I always have a spare.

I believe BJs is still carrying StretchTite.
I use Freeze-Tite from the same company. I can only find it on Amzn. Usually pricey, but sometimes on sale. Last time it was on sale I bought 8 boxes! LOL
I never thought about using StretchTite for non-freezer wrapping. I know the Freeze-Tite is really thick. Is the Stretch-Tite significantly better than Glad/Saran wrap?
