Remember that any store you go to now will be crowded due to the holiday shopping.

I have a membership to both BJs and Costco. I had my Costco membership first and got my BJ's membership when I went to the store with my Mom.

Costco has larger bulk items and a deep dish pizza to die for. My eye doctor is there, and I am very happy with him. I got my tires there for a great price, but they messed up the installation. They have samples daily. The customer service is awesome.

I think BJs has more of a variety and they sell smaller bulk items. They don't do samples very often and the customer service is lacking.

Costo has one or two brands of women's razors in a 20 pack. BJ's has 6 brands of women's razors in an 10 pack. The same with toothpaste and mouthwash.

Costco sells ground turkey in a 6 pack of one pound packages. BJ's sells a 3 pack of 1.33 pound packages of ground turkey. BJ's packaging is better.

BJ's has more meats and produce, cheeses and frozen vegetables, a large organic section. They have items that Costco doesn't have: bagged kale (Costco has bagged kale salad), canned red salmon, honeycrisp apples, Bounty napkins, Cottonelle, simmer sauces.

I do my biweekly shopping at BJ's. The prices are the same.

ITA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their roasted made whole chicken is out of this world & only $4.99 & I agree a much better selection. Any of their Kirkland brand is excellent. Also their customer service is outstanding plus their rebate program is great. I always get a rebate check each year for at least $150.00 or more & that more than pays for the membership fee.

COSTCO, COSTCO, COSTCO is definitely #1 in my book along with a lot of my friends & relatives.

Oh geez, how could I forget about the rotisserie chicken! Costco has the best at a great price!

BJ's is awful. It doesn't even compare; it's awful.

Was at Costco yesterday. The store was crowded but I found a parking spot right by the entrance and no line at checkout. Love Costco! We don't have BJ's here.

They treat their employees well so they have low turnover and they were closed Thanksgiving to give their employees the day off! I've tried the others and Costco is the best; I've been shopping there for over twenty years!

I stopped at Costco before Thanksgiving. While leaving I noticed a manila envelope with TURKEY VOUCHERS printed on it. I asked the door attendant what a turkey voucher was. He said each employee is given a free turkey for Thanksgiving. I remarked that it was a great policy. His comment...""Isn't it!! I LOVE working for Costco!""

Each year I write Costco commending them for their Thanksgiving policy. I've added the Turkey Voucher to my comments!

I belong to both (Costco was still Price Club back when I joined and was my first club), at the time I joined BJ's my kids were young and they carried more items like diapers, formula and such than Costco, also I joined their "Rewards" membership and got back my membership fee and more. Note too they also take manufacturer coupons. Now right or wrong at their self check out lanes I've used both BJ's and manufacturer coupons for the same item, like laundry deterdent and other house hold cleaning items, so I'm saving more. So for now I'll be staying with both.

For those who shop at Costco Online, Savings Too Big dot com is affiliated with Costco and offers a $10 coupon when you shop.

I used it when I was looking for toner. Between the coupon, sale price and rebate, I saved almost $40 on 2 packages of high capacity toner.

Haven't been in a BJ's but love, love, love Costco's. It has wonderful return policy. Did I say I love it?
