Corkys Turkey Breast

[ Edited ]

I ordered the Corkys turkey breast when it was a TSV. Fixed it today for Thanksgiving dinner, it was terrible! The only reason that I'm not terribly upset is because I had a Honey Baked ham in addition. Plus, my husband and daughter don't really love turkey, I just wanted to have a small breast. Idk why everything looks so good when presented but is a huge disappointment in reality. Nevertheless, Happy Thanksgiving

Sorry the turkey breast didn't turn out good. The Honey Baked Ham should have been tasty.

My sister made bbq ribs & a ham since most in the house don't want turkey.

You could try a 3 lb boneless Butterball turkey breast in the air fryer at Christmas to see how you like it.

I have made the 3 lb boneless & a 6 lb bone in with most of the bone removed so it would fit in my air fryer. They turned out really good.

DH smoked our turkey breast yesterday. It was really good. It was moist.

Here are the instructions I went by to make the turkey in the air fryer. I went by info from Blue Jean Chef's turkey breast cooked in the air fryer.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Air Fryer Turkey Breast

3 lb boneless turkey breast with the net on it.

I put pats of butter under what skin was on it.

Brushed it with olive oil & sprinkled with poultry seasoning.

Cooked @ 350° for around 25 mins. on each side.

Remove when the internal temperature is 160°.

Let Rest. It will finish cooking.

Internal Temp. Poultry is 165°.

I'm pretty sure it got a little smokey in the house due to smoke point of  butter & olive oil. Online it says to add some water to the bottom of the pan. My air fryer has a separate basket from the interior pot so I can add water.

What was wrong with it?  Too smoky flavored?

@rockygems123 - really generic smoky flavor with a slight bbq flavor.  Awful

I bought the same thing last year and we really disliked it.  It was the only thing we had so we ate all the sides like crazy.  I think it was the BBQ sause with the bacon wrap.  My son didn't like the inside stuffing and neither did I.  Didn't order again this year.

Edited:  I think I am speaking about a different product.  Mine was the stuffed turkey breast wrapped in bacon.  I think you mean just the plain turkey breast.  I think I just don't like turkey covered in BBQ sauce.
