Hubby has a good eye for a good deal!  I bought one month ago when price dropped - it's still in the box - been playing with Instant Pot first.  But think it will be great to sear meats because all other pans stick.  Anxious to try popcorn - done with buying ready to eat and micro garbage.  Love fresh pop!  It's a great buy - you can't lose.  (I don't eat fried foods - so that part not of interest to me)

LOve mine, been using it for a couple of. Years..Use it for everything...it is easy to lift, So I can really fill it up..

I Brown my meat in it,then cover and slow cook either in oven or on my induction burner..Soups are easy, sauté all the veggies first don't have to change pans...

I make great Carnitas in it....

I use it to steam, and it is the perfect size for candy and fudge making....

I actually do use it to deep fry, I make big batches of won tons and egg rolls.

clean up is a breeze...

I paid a lot more, so I got one for my son and his family at that great price yesterday..

I am beginning to wish I hadn’t invested so much in LeCreuset over the years..I used just a small Le Creuset pan yesterday and it about killed me to lift it...I am certainly not comparing this to Le Creuset....
