I've had good luck with Cook Essentials, Rachael Ray,and Analon. I purchased them for myself and my kids either on QVC, BBB and Kohl's.

Can someone tell me what putting pans in the dishwasher has to do with their warping?
I understand not putting in non-stick pans, and maybe it's overall better to wash by hand, but the warping part I don't think I understand.
Thanks, everyone!

In my opinion Breville cookware is the best!!!! Tops!!!! There aren’t any rivets inside any pot, so none of your food gets stuck behind it. The are so well-made, wipe clean instantly and are a pleasure to cook with.

I've had great luck with Circulon with the non-stick surface.

Nothing to do with warping.

IMO, aside from proper care (hand washing, no high heat, no extreme temp changes), I think the main thing is buying quality.
I wouldn't buy aluminum cookware unless it's hard anodized. Just the regular aluminum, porcelain/enamel coated, is junk. It's too thin and plain aluminum like that over conducts so it's not only not a good cooking choice, but it could warp at some point, especially with high heat.
Good quality triply stainless, hard anodized aluminum, good quality cast iron - those are integrous enough that there would be no way, with normal use, any of those would warp.

I still have my complete set of copper bottom Revere Ware which I love because of the double boiler.
The only things I have replaced are small, no stick pans for eggs and a few large ones when our sons were teenagers and wouldn't turn the heat down.

I don't know how to describe my newer large, rimmed baking sheets by two different brands, except to say that they are heavy in weight and have a bumpy diamond-shaped raised surface on top and bottom.
Two are by Nordic Ware, and the third came as part of a FOOD & WINE baking set recently ordered from HSN.
They have not warped, and as soon as I saw how well they worked at high oven temps, I packed up my large Cuisinart baking pans and sent them to Goodwill. Those were nice-looking, hefty pans with a nonstick surface, but they warped even at moderate temperatures. I was quickly fed up with them.
Have never experienced any warping with a fry pan, saucepan or any other type of pot or pan--only with flat baking sheets used in an oven.
