Re: Cookware suggestions please

You may want to investigate the Deen Brothers cookware on Evine . I have had 2 10" skillets for about 6 months and it its the best non-stick I have ever used. The outside is nice ss inside a mixture of materials that are described on we b site.

Re: Cookware suggestions please

We use both nonstick and "stick" cookware, depending upon what we're cooking.

We've tried them all and have been most happy with Nouvelle Copper by Analon for our nonstick (pictured below) and All-Clad and Henkels for our stick ware. :-)

Re: Cookware suggestions please

Wow: Thanks everyone for great information and suggestions. I need to do a lot of research. Hopefully a friend will be able to take me shopping to compare , feel and touch the cookware. I failed to mention that I need something that is easy to handle and not heavy due to hand and wrist issues. Thanks again, Southern Bee

Aluminum and aluminum non stick for light wgt.  Can't go in dishwasher though. Some might be able too. Check the details.

Let us know what you settled on. I got some cheap pots from Walmart that can go in dishwasher I use all the time.

Got a Symon 1 qt red cast iron pot from HSN coming today. Shouldn't be real heavy since it's just a one qt. Symon had a big ol' red (burgundy) cast iron skillet that was a beauty think it was 12 inches. That thing would had

been super heavy though.

Re: Cookware suggestions please

@SharkE: Busy trying to research  cookware. A friend yesterday suggested ceramic cookware. She purchased a set sold at Bed Bath and Beyond and said it has lasted. DH wants information for Christmas gifts. Dealing with a lot this week. Air fryer unpacked and on counter. Hopefully will get it clean and use it this weekend. DH just asked: what contraption is that? Enjoy your new toy. Southern Bee

Re: Cookware suggestions please

All Clad hands down! For 40 years I used all sub-par cookware out there! I was always looking for a good deal and ended up using these pieces of junk a few times then having to throw them away. I bought two complete sets of All Clad cookware when we moved, 4 years ago, and I know I will never have to buy any more cookware ever again. They are costly but you only get what you pay for.

November issue of Good Housekeeping magazine features four cookware brands that it recommends after testing them.

The story with photos, prices and commentary is on page 106.

@novamc1: Thanks for the information. Will look for this when I go shopping. I am doing research on line. Just checked my local department stores and sad that some cookware that I wanted to look and feel if not heavy are not available in the local stores. I really need cool to the touch handles and not heavy. Southern Bee
