Does anyone have a great cookware set they can recommend? I have always used Cooks Essentials 18/10 for many years (went through 2 sets) but don't think they offer that set anymore.

I loved my CE Technique hard anodized, but after about 20 years it gave out.  After a lot of trial and error, I now have Curtis Stone non-stick cookware.  It seems to be indestructible!

Nothing sticks and it is dishwasher safe.  Keep  an eye out for maybe a TS on HSN this month.

Re: Cookware sets

I agree with @DaleP  - I have tons of HSN's Curtis Stone - cook sets, bakeware, gadgets, etc. and I swear by it.  He is due for another visit to HSN Friday January 17th to Monday January 20th.  They will likely start adding new things Monday January 13th - Friday the 17th.  It is worth checking out.  They may have better pricing and/or free freight during his visit.

@kjayr  I have not found any sets that suit my needs. There is always something lacking and always something I don't need. So, over the years, I have decided to pick and choose different pots and pans for my needs. It isn't very cohesive, but it works. I have some All Clad skillets and 2 smaller non-stick frying pans that I replace on a regular basis as they lose their non-stick qualities. I have a heavy-bottomed Farberware stock pot, a Lodge 8 Qt. Dutch Oven; several Reverware sauce pans from my Mom (they are terrific!); and an All Clad strainer pot my son gave me for Christmas last year. My Cuisinart 12 inch skillet is starting to warp, so I would like to replace it with an All Clad (when I win the lottery).

I have many pieces of both Scanpan and All Clad (SS and non-stick) but I have put them away in favor of Curtis Stone. The CS  is the best non-stick I have ever used Even my DH marvels at how easy it is to cook in and clean up.

Another vote for Curtis Stone.  His cookware is all I use now.

I have a Kirkland (Costco brand) set I bought several years ago and is still going strong except for one skillet.  I have replaced it with a Curtis Stone pan and have also purchased a couple of his small skillets, one for me and one for my husband.  I see no reason to by whole sets anymore.  The last thing I need is another stock pot.

I have replaced all my old expensive styff with Curtis Stone also.  It's great
