Cookware Set Suggestion For Grandaughter Please

Great meals are so easy with great cookware, as we all know.

It's been forever since I have purchased a cookware set

Wolfgang Puck stainless steel set of pans, best cookware I have bought.  Got a set for both of my kids when they moved into their own places.  HSN usually carries his products, good luckSmiley Happy

I am still using my Faberware set. I bought 38 years ago. Other sets have come and gone but I still use my Faberware everyday.

PS - Sams Club also sells Wolfgang Puck sets.

CURTIS STONE!!!!  I have tried them all over the years and never had cookware like his.  It is the highest rated brand on HSN -- across all brands -- not just kitchen.  Far and away the best I have ever used.  Check out the reviews and you will see that I am far from the only one!!

Buy her something trendy like Rachel Ray with orange trim.

I'm sure she'll like it and you're not breaking the bank.

I never cared for "sets".  They always seemed to have things that I did not like or use much.  How about a gift certificate and let her choose her cookware?

Re: Cookware Set Suggestion For Grandaughter Please

How about some individual pieces?  With sets, especially the larger ones, there are always some you never use and just take up space.

My Suggestions:

Le Creuset Dutch oven

Le Creuset Braiser

Le Creuset Skillet

All-clad or similar Stainless Steel Skillet or Sauté pan

A non-stick Sauté or omelet pan

A saucepan or 2

Sizes would depend on whether you think your granddaughter will entertain or cook large quantities

frequently.

I know Le Creuset offers some sets that include both their enameled cast iron and stainless pans.

Curtis Stone is the best cookware I've ever had, it cooks evenly with a nonstick finish that cleans up quickly & the colors you can choose from are pretty too. I have the Stone Gray & after 2+ years it looks like new inside & out. Sold on Amazon & HSN, you can watch his presentations on the HSN website. I think your granddaughter would be thrilled with it.

Curtis Stone. Any of his sets or separate pieces are the best I have ever used also. I have Rachel Rays but Curtis is the best for me. The very best nonstick I have used in 52 years.

@PattyShell I whole heartedly agree with many that have replied on this thread that Curtis Stone's cookware is just wonderful.  I have three of his fry pans and cannot say enough good things about them.  He had the TS I believe it was yesterday so maybe some of his sets are on sale for the Labor Day weekend.
