I ordered a new pan yesterday, and found an interesting site about cookware.

I saw the All Clad presentation on ITKWD, but at my age do not need another expensive line of cookware - happy w/what I have.  But it was an excellent aarticle, a must read for someone interested in buying it.  Thanks!

Thanks so much for posting this.  I have my original set, RevereWare Stainless, copper bottom... married 50 years in June.  Still going strong.  (us and the pots)

I would like a new set.  But soooo many choices.

Noticed your mention of RevereWare Stainless.  Remembered saving for and purchasing a pan from that line when I was a (young) working person--was still single then.  Have a few more pieces of RevereWare that I still use. My Mother-in-Law also had several RevereWarepans  she used all the time.   While it has not been fifty years yet (still in the forty range) marriage and pans still doing "OK".  Thanks and Enjoy Life Smiley Happy

Great link @Nuttmeg.  It's good to know the original version of All Clad is worth the money.  Thank you!
