Cooks Issential Pressure Cooker

I just ordered the Cooks Issent.Electric/Digital Pressure Cooker and had 2 questions. First question is if you have an old cookbook that was geared for the old type of pressure cookers how do you adapt the recipes? Second question is if I cut recipes in half how do I adjust the time?
