Why do my cookies spread and flatten out on sheet in oven?
I can't make a chunky, chewy cookie. Recipe calls for either softened or melted butter so I do it my sister says don't melt the butter, but, the recipe will say "1 stick melted butter", so, I melt it and all I get is a skinny ol' flat as pancake cookie. LOL I got a electric oven I like gas better.
what am I doing wrong? I'm not a beginner cook or a teenager, old, LOL I put fat drollops of dough on sheet and they still spread flat. wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
