How often do you cookbook collectors go through your books and get rid of the ones you don't use or want? What's your criteria for deciding which ones have to go?

I have about 700 cookbooks (not counting the little ones that you get at the supermarket checkout) and there's no room for any more, even after I purchased another bookshelf. Last night I went through them, and set aside the ones I know I won't use to send to a friend whose wife loves cookbooks but can't afford to buy new ones. I generally don't part with my baking and dessert books (although I did find one thin volume from Hershey's where the recipes are duplicated in some big Hershey's books I have, so she'll get that one), but I don't get to cook main dishes as often as I'd like, since I don't have anyone to cook for. I scanned through some books I've had for a while, and if there weren't recipes that jumped out at me, or they had a lot of stuff I know I won't eat, off they went. I also have a bunch of vegetarian cookbooks (from the days when I was dating a vegetarian guy) that I won't use - they're going too. Now there's room for some newer ones I have my eye on! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

BTW, if any of you are die-hard vegetarians and want some of the vegetarian books, please send me a PM at my website; you can have them for postage. I don't think my friend's wife would be all that interested in them.
