Cook's Essentials CEPC 800

[ Edited ]

I hae a Cook's Essentials Oval CEPC 800 pressure cooker. It's my favorite pc. The nostick insert is flaking off. It still works great. Any help getting another insert would be greatly appreciated.

You can try CS for any help. I am at a loss as to why anyone would put that black non stick stuff in a pressure cooker anyway!!? got rid of all my non stick junk and got ceramic nonstick and then the Instant Pot has stainless. I did use Techinques hard anodozed p/c for years that I loved---but got the IP a couple years ago. I am not one to baby my cookware with special tools----good luck!

Doubt you will find one of those as old as that pressure cooker is since they have not made it for years.

I had the same one for a long time. One of the electronic boards went out plus something else on it broke. I found a used one on Ebay for sale as parts. DH was able to fix mine both times it quit working. It quit working again so was not able to fix it. I finally threw it out. Guess I should have kept it. The interior pot was still in good condition. It did have some wear around the edges of pot where the lid fit.

The only thing you can do is keep checking Ebay to see if one comes up for sale. Search 8 qt oval pressure cooker since this pressure cooker was sold under several brand names like Russell Hobbs & Faberware.

There are 2 Russell Hobbs on Ebay both for $50. One has $50 shipping & the other is free pickup only in Madison, Wi. The one with $50 shipping does not look that great. My interior pot was in a lot better condition.
