Re: Commitment overload. Does anyone else do this to themselves? I need to stop volunteering.

That leaves you with just the cheese and crackers, zucchini quiches, spinach feta quiches, and finishing the devil's food cake. Cheese and crackers: buy a couple of good cheeses, like brie, place on a platter surrounded by crackers. That's done. Quiches: buy readymade crusts. Just add fillings. Finish up the devil's food cake. Next time: delegate more to others. Smiley Happy Or, just don't make as much.
I agree, good advice!

Oh, how sweet of you, Poodlepet!

Learning about wine is my hobby, so I was thrilled to step in for the farmer's market.

Anytime the local wineries have an event, I get a professional invite, as well as discounts on bottles and cases. DH doesn't drink, so I always have a designated driver.

The best pairing I had was champagne (not local, actual champagne) and parmesan cheese. WOW was all I could say!

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

I stand by what I said, and I'm done with yet another of these threads.

That is probably a good thing for both you and the OP.

The hardest thing to learn is how to say NO.....no excuses, no hesitation just NO. I don't think anyone is taking advantage of you.....I think you have a need to be in the middle of whatever, over-extended and harried.....certainly doesn't make you a bad person but , apparently, a needy one.
