Yum! I bought two 1/2 turkey breast in the meat department and froze them. The cold weather came, I thawed and placed in a baking bag.
325 degrees, butter poultry seasoning, celery seed, and marjoram after melted butter. DONE! In 2 hrs!!!
Made stuffing and gravy from chicken stock and drippings.
Moist and yummy!

@ECBG Sounds good. I have never used a baking bag. I have one frozen 1/2 turkey breast that I'd like to make, but I'm not sure how to do it. I typically make the entire turkey. You've inspired me!
Edited to add... how did you crisp up the skin? Did you take it out the last 15 mins? Thx.

Great idea I have always made my thanksgiving turkey in a cooking bag, no basting. I do chicken in a bag occasionaly too comes out really good.

That sounds soooo good. Turkey (breast) is one of my favorite meats. I had some leftover turkey from Christmas that I got out Saturday night and had with a small baked potato and a few veggies/dip. That's the last of my leftover turkey.

The skin crispening took place in the bag because I started with melted butter which also holds on the spices.
When using a bag, you shake around 1 tsp flour. After the meat is in and the strip provided is on, you cut several slits in the bag which allows steam to escape.
At 325 degrees which yeilds much more moist turkey, it took 2 hrs.
