I have had many coffee makers and cannot find one that makes really hot coffee. I just got the Keurig 2.0 and you can gulp down the coffee as soon as you pour it in your cup. I even heat up the creamer so as not to cool the coffee. I feel like I have to drink fast to keep it from getting cold.

I hear you. I do not like the Keurig for the reason you mention--it's drinking temperature out of the gate and then the cup just gets cooler.
I think this is physics: the smaller volume of coffee brewed in a mug has more surface area compared to volume--so it's going to cool faster. A bigger carafe has more volume to surface area--stays warmer. And china mugs really chill coffee faster than a glass carafe, as well. Double whammy!
I had a Keurig Vue for a while and it brewed hot coffee in a mug (you could set temps) but the Vue didn't catch on because it didn't use K cups (what, they thought we'd give those us?) So I had to get rid of it because no cups were available any more. It's been discontinued.
I use a regular Mr. Coffee type of brewer and I just make a short pot. The "4 cup" is about a 20oz mug and it's hot enough.

Hmmm I have a Keurig 2.0 (not from the Q) and my coffee is absolutely scalding! I have to wait to drink it.

I felt the same way-would put the cup in the microwave for 30 seconds after it finished brewing (this in a regular coffee maker).
Then at my son's, he had a small 4 cup Mr. Coffee but the pot was stainless steel and it was the hottest I'd ever had from a coffee maker.
I had to look around to find this-I think I got it at Target. Walmart didn't have it and can't remember if Bed Bath and Beyond did.
The only drawbacks of it are it has a small area to pour the water in and when you pour the coffee in a cup, we found if you hold the lid open, it doesn't drip. Its difficult to handclean because the opening is so small but I just put it in the dishwasher occasionally. It does have an automatic shut off (after one hour) and a pause pourer. I'm so glad I found one that makes it really hot!

It seems it really doesn't matter what kind of coffee pot you use these days.. I always have to heat the, just poured, coffee in the microwave to get it "really" hot. Years ago, when my mother made coffee on the stove in the old fashioned perk pot, it was truly hot.

Thought I would chime in and add my 2-cents worth. I have a BUNN coffee maker. I make coffee in it every morning...drink some and then pour some in a thermos travel mug to take to work. Almost 2 hours after the coffe was originally made, the coffee in my travel mug is still hot enough that it's close to burning my tongue and the back of my throat on its way down. I have to be careful when taking a swig of it. I swear by my BUNN coffeemaker.

The only way to get really hot coffee is to use the old fashioned perk pot. I use my Pyrex on the stove pot every morning. Get into a routine - put the pot on first thing and then go take your shower, do laundry or whatever - it will be perked and ready to go.

My vote for best hot coffee goes to the old-fashioned percolators - a la Farberware. I found one at a yardsale three years ago and for a pot of coffee there's just nothing better.
I use my Keurig only for times when I'm in a hurry or I just want a single cuppa in the late afternoon. I heat the cup before I brew and I'm a black coffee drinker, so it's hot enough for me.

I have the 2.0, and I have never had a problem with the temperature of the coffee being too low. I love really hot coffee, so believe me, I would have replaced the machine long ago. (I also had the Vue, and the coffee from the 2.0 is almost as hot.)
Whlile there may be an issue with your machine, the more likely issue is with the cup you are using. The thermal mass of some cups is such that the coffee is cooled almost immediate with the first cup. I do not have this issue with the mugs I normally used (thin, double-walled glass cups), I do have a heavy stoneware mug that has this problem.
One way to compensate ,rather than microwaving and destroying the taste of the coffee ,is to fill the cup with hot water. As the 2.0 will let one dispense hot water, I generally add hot water, let the cup sit for bout a minute to preheat, then empty the cup and brew the coffee. It seems to work for me, and if it does for you, you will save the trouble and expense of looking for another coffee maker.
