I need a new grinder and was thinking maybe one of these two. Anyone have experience with either of them? Which would you get (any brand)?

One is the Capresso Infinity, or Infinity Plus, item #K378969

 Haven't tried either of them.  I had purchased a Cuisinart with the big hopper from Amazon (same model that one of our kids has) and when I went to use it, it didn't work.  I ended up getting a refund.  In the process, I decided I didn't really like the big size for a couple of reasons; the amount of space it took up, and I couldnt just grind enough for a single mug.  Our son also told us it was kind of loud, too.  I started shopping again and ended up with one that I like quite a bit.  It's small, has a dial to adjust the grind size, is relatively quiet and I can grind as much as I want.  I've repurchased the same grinder two more times as gifts.  It's an unfamiliar brand, but that doesn't matter to me,

@SnowOwl79 we do not have the brands you mentioned.  ours is the GEVI burr grinder.  it may be the hardest working appliance in the kitchen since we grind by the cup or about six times per day on espresso setting. we purchased 2021 from Amazon.

I dont have either - I have Baratza Encore Burr Grinder

after much research  - I bought it about 8 yrs ago (never owned a grinder before)

it costs a little over $100.00 with new customer coupon back then

I purchased a Capresso metal die cast housing conical burr grinder on the Costco website for $99.99 a few years ago.  It works great.  It looks very similar to the picture on the website you posted.  I don't know why it's $70 more but I would think it's not worth the price.

Costco still sells the coffee grinder for $99.99.  I don't think you can go wrong is you purchase a conical burr grinder.

@JeanLouiseFinch  I saw that one during my search (they all begin to run together after hours of searching, lol). It doesn't matter to me what brand it as long as it grinds my beans and I will take another look. Thank you so much!

It is very similar in size and shape to one I bought a few years ago but looks better designed. I think it was a Krups. The second time I used it, it wouldn't work. It looked good but but needed a major overhaul in design.

@Yahooey  I did look at the Baratza machine and read those reviews. That's what I'm looking for, something that will last. I did have this one, and one by OXO, that I was considering as well so I'm happy to hear from someone who actually owns one. Thank you!

@henderson  The Capresso Infinity comes in a metal die cast housing for $100.

The Infinity Plus comes in plastic for $100, and metal for $150. Then there's that one on Q listed as commercial grade for $160. They say the Plus is an updated version, and that the metal ones are not as loud. 

I always look for coupons, lol. I just got a Keurig Slim Plus Iced machine from HSN for $70 (with a $10 off code I found online). It came with a My K-Cup and two boxes of 12-count pods. It isn't the multi-stream technology but is just fine for me. I like the design of the K-Supreme so when this one quits, that's the one I'll get.
