Clearance Kitchen Items on Waitlist

Odd question. If a clearance item is available on waitlist does that mean there is a good chance that my order will be filled? I ordered some of the RR loaf pans as gifts and I noticed the mushroom color is now on waitlist. When I checked yesterday it was still available. I guess I waited too long... But does the fact that they have the option of the mushroom color for waitlist mean there is a good chance my order will be fulfilled eventually?

Re: Clearance Kitchen Items on Waitlist

Some clearance items that I have ordered that got wait listed, I have actually gotten, some others I was not so lucky and the order got cancelled. If I had to guess, I would say, it might depend on the number of people that are on wait list for that particular item or color.

It's probably to allow for the re-selling of returns.

I thought the same thing about the Kuhn Rikon (sp?) spice grinder. Was going to order it, but it was available only in Buttercup and the Red was on waitlist. HUH!!! That was around 1PM. It's now 4:45 eastern, and all colors are available. So happy I waited because I've decided I do NOT need this product.

The smaller (3½ oz) KR spice grinders are WAY more handy than the ones on clearance. I have two sets of the smaller ones, and love them.

So can one just put less in one of the larger ones? now I am rethinking my purchase...

The smaller ones fit in your hand better, they are on a lunch time special today too. They're taller and narrow. I don't use the larger ones any more.
