Cleaning the Vitamix?

I don't have mine yet, but wondering how to keep it clean? I watched the demo, but it seems to need more than a rinse of the water. I've been juicing for quite a while now, and the veggies leave an awful film on everything, including my teeth, that needs to be scrubbed off. Rinsing alone does a very poor job. Any tips you have learned along the way you'd like to share? Thanks.
