Chocolate Buttercream Icing - Easy & Yummy!

Best buttercream frosting I've made - nice and chocolaty and yummy! Spreads so nice

Over double-boiler method (glass bowl over simmering water) - melt

24 ounces (2 bags) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Remove from pan and add:

2 tablespoons light corn syrup

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Allow mixture to cool down - Then using whisk attachment to your mixer:

Add 4 tbsp. of butter (softened) not melted

Whip and mix well - then enjoy frosting on your favorite treat!
