My dh took a tiny nibble of a habanero once and actually got blisters in his mouth.  Not really edible.

I can go all the way to habanero and I even had ghost pepper hot wings once! Spicy food makes me feel alive! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ˜

serranos are way better than jalapenos......and i dont even like spicy things generally!

You need to wear RUBBER GLOVES to cut up a HABANERO!   (Or you will BURN your hands.)

 

Also, they have very little "flavor". They only contribute HEAT to your recipรฉ.
