Anyone feel Chef Tony is just an "actor" ? What are his credentials ? I never see him cooking, just selling gadgets and reheating processed, packaged foods. I had never seen or heard of him on The Food Channel.  He was on with David tonight.  I had to turn him off and switched to the Jewerly TV station.

I had no idea, so I googled him.  He's not a professional chef.  He made his name selling kitchen gadgets on infomercials and shopping channels.

Many people will give themselves some kind of name, lable, or title without having credentials.  Doesn't mean a thing.

My brother-in-law goes by the name of Doctor.  Everyone I know in our town calls him Doc or Doctor.  People that meet him for the first time will often ask if he's a medical doctor or dentist.  No, we tell them, he just gave himself that "title" because he feels he is a doctor of knowledge.  LOL!!!!!  He's nothing but a "know it all."

I think his full name is Tony Notaro.  I've seen him doing knife informercials and other gadget infomercials.  So what?  Don't like him?  Switch channels, as you did.

I first saw "Chef" Tony about 25 years ago.  He was on an infomercial for a then new T-FAL 9" skillet.  He's been doing this a long time.

I'm none too sharp, but even I am beginning to sense a running theme here. Woman Frustrated
