Makena that is crazy about being called Dr. by everyone in your town.

Chef Tony surley does portray himself as a trained Chef. At least Mark doesn't feel the need to be called a Chef to sell gadgets.

The shopping channels seem to really emphasize the title of "chef" the last couple of years.  Some that are introduced with that title are not really chefs.  However, the title makes no difference to me in whether or not I purchase.  If I need and like an item I will purchase as long  as the qualities of the item were well-presented.

re: Marc Charles --David mentioned they are going to the trade show in Vegas soon.  I think that is one of the sources for the items Marc Charles brings to QVC.  I really don't think he invents all these items.  I think he is the rep for Kuhn Richon, etc.  He may suggest items to them since he  knows what sells on QVC.  "Chef" Tony also seems to be the rep for many lines.

It’s a shopping channel not a cooking show.

Furthermore I’m a trained chef with a degree from Johnson and Wales and I work as an accountant.

I have no idea about Chef Tony's back ground but I like him as a vendor.

He is always very nice and polite to everyone!

I have no problem with his personality but take offense that the hosts keep referring to him as "Chef" when he is nothing more than a vendor who dons a white chefs jacket in order to ramp up sales. He is on again and David is incessantly referring to him as "chef".

@Reever  Wow, you have a bee in your pants tonight.  Take a chill pill.  Chef Tony is a gentleman with a gentle personality.  He doesn't yell, push or talk down at anyone.  If you don't like him, you know the drill.  He is a vendor and a nice one at that.
