@SharkE I've got lots of his products and like them all but I have no space for this TS. It is a good thing I don't because I don't need it and he is a good salesman! I didn't see any items I need listed on HSN so I haven't watched at all. I rarely watch a presentation unless I am thinking of purchasing.

Yes, the TSV electric grill griddle looks like an interesting product and a good buy BUT there are also two rip off items (and they likely will remove my message for letting you know.) I'm talking about the two olive oils for $49.95 each. One is from California and one is from Australia. They are both olive oils by Cobram Estate. I suspect they're fine olive oils, however if you go on Amazon, you will see Cobram Estate Robust 100% California EVO, First Cold Pressed for $18.29 and you will see Cobram Estate Australia Select EVO, First Cold Pressed for $22.99. So, for two bottles of the same olive oil, would you like to pay $41.24 or would you'd rather pay the HSN price of $49.95? Myself? I'd rather save $8.71.

I don't need it since I aleady have an electric griddle I've had for years. However, and I haven't watched a full presentation, it looked like one side is a griddle and one side is a grill. Are there extra plates so that you can have a griddle on both sides or a grill on both sides? Also, if only one side, the griddle seems rather small, and if you can configure it for a griddle on both sides, you have to be careful about the space in the middle, especially if you're working with a batter.

Both halves are reversible so you can have both grill/griddle or one of each just by flipping it over. Much better, I think, than having extra plates to store. FYI the center "seam" is where grease drains into the tray below.

I bought Curtis Stone's griddle/grill and really like it. Tonight on one half I made fried potatoes and on the other I grilled a flat iron steak (I was going to buy a ribeye, but would have had to sell my car to have afforded it). That's obviously an exaggeration, but I haven't purchased much meat lately and the prices were out of sight. If I remember, the ribeye was $19 a pound. I feel for those of you who have to feed families.
Tomorrow I think I'll try bacon and scrambled eggs.
