Well a lot of people, said Garrett's and I bought Garretts, never again, lots of hulls in your mouth left along with hard pieces that are just not edible.  To me, very expensive and sure not the worth it.

I just remember visiting one of their shops in Chicago many years ago and certainly it was a lot better than what was sent to me.

I put through a review via their e-mail request stating the same and no one responded, guess they are king of the popcorn and found no need to reply.

@Mistreatedbycs I am so sorry you had a poor experience with their popcorn as whenever I travelled downtown I always made sure to buy the biggest bag I could to take home each time.  It really is terrific when purchased locally . . . Smiley Sad

I am not familar with this brand but if I were you I'd call their Customer Service Dept. and complain.  Ask for a replacement or refund.

@Mistreatedbycs   I write a lot of reviews for many products from many companies.   I don't think I've ever had a company response to one.   Certainly QVC,  HSN,  and Evine don't.   They deal with millions of customer now that everything is online,  so I guess it would be a monumental chore.   Maybe call CS and complain?

@Mistreatedbycs   I love cheese popcorn and here's how I make my own.   I pop my corn... I use Orville Reddenbacher's Smart Pop.   Then I spray it with butter flavored spray,  then I sprinkle it with powdered cheddar cheese which I get from Amazon.   The spray makes the cheese stick to the popcorn.   I use a powdered sugar sprinkler for the cheese.  I have few,  if any,  hulls and cheddar with robust flavor.

@Mistreatedbycs  I'm so sorry it was bad.  I think you should call them and ask for a refund.  I never had a bad batch but mostly it was from the store not as mail-order.

Omg, that sounds so yummy.   I will have to try making my own cheese popcorn.    I'm going to look on Amazon for the powdered cheddar cheese.  I've never heard of it before.

Thanks so much for posting your delicious sounding recipe.

It is going to be replaced so that's a good thing, hopefully it will be better than what i gifted.

On a side note, the cheese powder might be available at your local grocery store and I saw it at a great price at nuts dot com too.

After this go round with Garretts, I'm going to try making it myself too.....and try to find mushroom popcorn, that's the best corn for making cheesecorn...so I read.
